Anime Week @ Liang Court ;

Anime Week is a small event held at Liang Court(it's actually on for only 2 days, not a whole week. But they hold other Japanese culture activities throughout the week), actually I've heard of it previously but did not get the chance to see it for myself till this year. There were only a few booths, Pan In The Box being one of them. Not many cosplayers showed up either, only afew cosplays that I would consider quality ones.










This cosplayer actually freaked me out a lil, although her face ain't that close to the character (Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler in the party dress), she really looks like a real life doll!

Met Simeon there on the 2nd day, he came as Tokiya Ichinose from Uta no Prince-sama /うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪ . (o⌒．⌒o)♡




Really nice of him to give me a hairpin as a temporary fix for my shoe, the strap broke while I was on the way there. (Ｔ▽Ｔ)

Overall, the event was okay, I guess given that it's a mini event, we can't expect much as compared to the likes of EOY etc. Looking foreward to more events!

the discovery, of He Is We;

Hey guys!
I've just stumbled upon this band (from their song Breathe, on someone's blog) and wonder how I've not heard of them yet.

He Is We is Rachel Taylor & Trevor Kelly.  I really like their songs, and just found out as well that they have a collab song with Owl City, another of my fav bands. They've also recently gone on tour with All Time Low and The Ready Set, but had to drop it off due to Rachel's health condition. Hope she gets well soon <3 So yeah, click the links below and check them out! The soundcloud clip below is a new demo they've just released afew days ago.

in time, where your eyes meet the lines;

I kind of really just wanna fall asleep right now. Yes, I'm at work. There's no one here and I'm sleepy. Some dude just made a fuss here just now cause he wanted to "have girls" and not just use the steam room. It's kind funny to me how people like that get mad. It's like blatantly saying "Hey, I'm pissed off cause I'm looking to bang some stranger, any stranger" or something. I mean, Idk, just seems to me like it makes them look all the more sad and lonely. Ah wells. I might have something against people paying to um, bang someone or get banged.

Anyway, looking foreward to going to the Anime Week event. Though I don't think there will be that much stuff at the booths and all, I still want to treasure hunt and have a look around the shops there. Think I should hang out there more often. I just really love looking at the packaging of Japanese (and sometimes Korean) products! It's usually done so well, and some even with interesting concepts.

sneaky Kuma

Spotted a Kuma (Persona 4 / ペルソナ 4) keychain on someone's bag at school today! The bag was two tables away from mine, can't believe I even noticed it. It seems like I keep finding Persona stuff everywhere I go 8D

Sigh, blogging really reminds me of how much my English has deteriorated. I seriously need to read. There's quite many books on my want-to-read list at the moment, hopefully I'll get to read them soon.



Here's a quick sketch I did today in school. So far I've managed to keep my promise to myself of practicing everyday. We'll see where this is heading soon (:

ARCS class today was good. Recieved good comments for our presentation. I think our flow of presentation wasn't as good as the other groups, but it was straight to the point which served it's purpose. I think when it comes to presentations, most people tend to want to be the ones to present the most memorable one, but I feel that we must always remember that presentations are to communicate information. I remember creating the most eye catching powerpoint slides in primary and secondary school just to grab the audience's attention, but now I really do see presentations in a different light.

Bleached out my roots, blonde once again~ Made several mistakes while bleaching, but luckily it still turned out okay.

New wallpaper for the month (or months to come), Knife from the PS2 game Armen Noire. The game will be re-released as a port to UMD for the PSP in the coming months. I hope to be able to get my hands on this game!

Found this at a game shop! Bought it at 15SGD. Man, a real treasure for Persona / ペルソナ fans who'd wanna collect Persona related merchandise now. On a sidenote, I want a PS Vita soon!
