Meeting The Shire Folk

Gosh, this post has been delayed for quite abit due to my end term projects, so happy that I finally have the time to post up all these posts!

Anyway, found out some time before that there was a mini event for the opening of the movie, The Hobbit. Dropped by to support my friend Jas (I was the Kaoru to her Kenshin & she was also Ronald in our Kuroshitsuji team) who went as along with her relatives.

Anyway, there were articles about it in The Straits Times. I've kindly scanned em' up for your viewing pleasure :D (there's one more article but I can't find it in my house right now >.< will scan it up when I do)

I'm sure all LOTR fans are looking forward to catching The Hobbit on the big screen, so go catch if if you've yet to do so! The movie's around 3 hrs long though, so do make sure you have the time to spare (it's not the usual 1/2hrs), you won't want to miss the ending I'm sure!

We Can Fix It!

No, it's not something from the children's show Bob the Builder (which I used to watch btw), it's the awesome new movie Wreck It Ralph! I can't wait for it to be out here in Singapore!

Did you know that Disney Studios Singapore did a promo thing for the movie, having bloggers cosplay as Wreck It Ralph and respectively during L2P and EOY? If you managed to find them you'd get a Wreck It Ralph premium or some cool stuff. Can't believe I didn't hear about it till AFTER the event! I'd definitely would have tracked them down if I did, moreover I was at both events even though it was for a really short time. So disappointed! Smith looks kinda cute as Ralph from the photos!

Well, if you missed that event like I did, do check out the Wreck It Ralph PK Day Out event happening tomorrow at Bugis Junction (outside Mango) around 3PM. BoyThunder, Kimberly and Aloysius will be leading the three teams to participate in the challenge and I'm in BoyThunder's team!

 Anyway, if you can't get enough of Wreck-It Ralph like me, you can always download the mobile apps they've released. There's a further comic on Hero's Duty as well as a Wreck-It Ralph game app going at $1.20SGD if I'm not wrong. The game app is awesome! It includes 3 games, the main Fix-It Felix game, and Hero's Duty. I can't play Hero's Duty on iphone for nuts though, can't seem to get the controls right somehow >.<

That said, let me leave you with Owl City's (one of my fave artists btw) music video for When Can I See You Again, the title song for Wreck It Ralph movie. Do check it out, the concept's pretty neat, I really love the 8bit / pixel art set!

Oh yeah I might end up collecting certain comic releases. shittt the art's damn nice. And maybe the Neil Gaiman grpahic novel/comics. other stuff to get include Ten Commandments DVD, Handel's Messiah Rocks DVD, Fame OST.

sometimes I think I look for too many things that inspire me, I don't sit down enough to spend time getting inspired by it all... At the same time, suddenly I like all the scary Halloween stuff. So. Halloween should become my new fav holiday, other than chistmas for the candy canes :D



wristbands are awesome. they don't come cheap though.. haha can see my Rent posters in the bkgnd. Reminds me that I need more plastic protectors to put up the new posters

Today. ROCKED!

met: ISA, Sarah, Jia ning & Zhiqi!

went to kbox in the afternoon, then brought that few who have not been to Kbox there! So fun! Oh yeah, then I saw Andy pass by our room afew times! I think he looked inside once, but by the time I waved we walked by alrdy. oh well. Oh! and I have to say this, THERE IS BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY IN KBOX!! We did sing it! Love it too bits! Also, after this, alrdy worn my voice out quite abit.

oh oh yeah! I want to mention this. We saw this little boy's mother abusing the child in the mrt. so freaky. Cause the child wandered away for awhile, then when the mother found him, she just whacked his head really hard, then pushed him to make him fall in the moving mrt, then dragged him up by one hand. I think everyone around is was seriously shocked. how in the world can people do such things???!! I mean, if you want to make the child learn, at least don't whack his head! the child was really little. think toddler. still walking unsteadily. scary.

Then went to Plaza Sing to collect the tickets from 987. We were in theatre 5, same as Grace, Ros, Debbie and her friend. Deb's friend and Ros won stuff! So cool! lol. They were all yelling to answer the Qs, while I was like "CHOOSE THEM!!!! PICK THEM!!PICK THEM!!!" pointing to them. lol! Anw, super fun! the back people were jumping and all and Sarah and ISA and me wanted to too, but then the people behind us weren't standing so if we did we would block them. Then halfway this whole group ran to the front, so I was like " go go go! go down!" lol then the 3 of us ran down while jia ning &zhiqi stayed. So there was like, the back rows and the front row! FUN though! But now my legs are aching like hell! haha! Gotta prepare for the 2 days of Singfest anyway, so this is not bad.

Oh yeah, the DJs Shan and Ros were there! Got a pic with Shan! Ros was in a hurry and took a last pic with Deb, so I didn't push for a pic. Was too slow to get autographs though. Argh. I need a new bag. Was trying to keep my things from falling out at the same time cause my bag has a little hole, so it slowed me down abit.

After that went with Debbie and her friend to Sembawang and bougth the dvd+cd!

Then after, they left, and we went to Istana Park to take pics! haha, I need to drag them out more often! and go pic taking!
